Throw A Party!
Another great idea for teens to make some money and have fun too, is to have a party.
Now you might be wondering how you will make money with this but if you throw a fancy dress party, every person invited to the party can pay a small fee, let’s for example say $5.00 and the best dressed person with the best costume, will win the money. If you are organizing the party you could always take a small percentage of the prize money for covering the expenses of the party.
If you are the host you could also serve light refreshments and charge a small amount over and above your cost. Again, it will be a good idea to have adult supervision so that things don’t get out of control.

Ways for kids to make money – Teenagers and students
Today I am going to be focusing mainly on the older children, teenagers and students. Firstly, congratulations for taking the decision to look into ways to make money for yourselves instead of always going to your parents and expecting them to hand over their hard earned money. Not only will you be able to buy your own concert tickets, electronic gadgets or the latest fashions, but you will feel a great sense of pride and achievement knowing that you have worked for it!
Apart from the usual jobs that we see out there for teens like baby-sitting, mowing the grass, cleaning the house (not that there is anything wrong with them) there are so many more opportunities out there today because of theinternet.
Online Tutoring is an excellent way to not only earn extra money, but you will be helping someone else at the same time.
Fixing and repairing computers is another opportunity to earn extra money. Let’s face it, there are many people who do not know much about computers and if you know how to at least format a disk,install and run a anti-virus program, you could be looking at a great opportunity.
Online paid surveys is another option. There are many scams out there, so you will have to be careful and as a rule of thumb, the legit companies do not want your money upfront. However, it would be wise to have an adult review the site and join if you are too young.
Data entry jobs can be very lucrative too. Just as paid surveys you have to chose carefully, but one site with good reviews is Global data-entry jobs. Again you might need an adult to sign up for you.
Blogging and/or setting up your own website. This is probably where the most money can be made, but can seem overwhelming if you do not know where to start. We all know that it is easy to set up a blog and write an article or two. But to make money from your blog you need to have traffic, a good niche, the right keywords and of course you need to monetize your blog.
